Miracles-- events which seem to defy scientific explanation, often suggesting divine intervention--pose a fascinating paradox. On one hand, they are said to be all around us, and are experienced on a regular basis. On the other hand, scientifically proof of their existence remains elusive. Join investigator Benjamin Radford for a talk on the nature and investigation of miraculous claims, drawing from his own investigations into weeping statues, stigmata, and other alleged miracles.

Ben Radford is a Research Fellow with the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry, managing editor of Skeptical Inquirer magazine, columnist for LiveScience.com, and author of five books and hundreds of articles on skepticism, investigation, and the paranormal
