Contents: Filled with wit and humor, this exploration into atheism is written for young adults, although older people will also find it of value. Not just focused on atheism, this crash course in ogical thinking addresses the issue of indoctrination, be it religious, political, or commercial, and akes the case that morality is created through reason, logic, and our basic social nature, not hrough divine commands. Topics include the traditional arguments for God's existence, the elationship of evolution and religious belief, the incompatible nature of science and religion, and he harmfulness of both Christianity and Islam.
"Ignore the subtitle that says this book is for young people. It's for everyone! All of the good arguments foratheism are here, witty, factual, and devastating. . . . We've read a library-full of atheist books, and this one rates with the best." -Marie Elena Castle, The Moral Atheist (Feb./March 2009)
