CFI-Indiana has had and continues to have many programs dealing with science, religion, politics, and current events, but here we will learn about and discuss the bestselling novels (and occasional nonfiction books) that captured the interest of Americans from colonial times to the present. What will these books tell us about how America changed? Did the books themselves bring about the change? The course is taught by Professor Peter Conn (who has won awards both for his research and for his teaching abilities) of the University of Pennsylvania. Discussion leader is Fred Mandelkorn.
