Introductions

We'll begin by introducing the members of the board of directors.

Lakeland Lawsuit
An update on the current status of the "prayer" lawsuit against the City of Lakeland will be given.

Webcast
Update on construction of the Webcast facility. If we can complete it within the month, we will produce a Webcast at our next chapter meeting Dec. 9 with the audience consisting of the attendees at the meeting. Topic will be a discussion of why we are atheists, and the audience will be able to participate on the show.

Tampa Bay Coalition of Reason

Atheists of Florida has maintained its association with the Tampa Bay Coalition of Reason (we'll explain what that is at the meeting).

The Tampa Bay CoR is planning two upcoming events which we hope our members will attend.
Both events will be held at the UU Congregation in Clearwater.


WINTERFEST POTLUCK
January 19, 2013, from 7 to 9 PM

DARWIN DAY celebrating Science, Education, & the Public
February 9, 2013, from 10 AM to 2 PM

Featured speakers will include Sean Faircloth, Ryan Cragun, and Jim Strayer.
Cost for Darwin Day is $15 in advance, $20 at the door. We will have advance tickets available for purchase at todays meeting, and have more specific information about the events.
