Democracy Dialogues
Center for Inquiry Institute | The Democracy Dialogues - Thursdays, May 7 and 21, 7:00 pm
Join us on the first and third Thursdays during May and June for our spring 2009 reading group focusing on democracy and religion. Special appearances during this period will be made by Ronald A. Lindsay (CFI's chief executive officer) and Tom Flynn (the Council for Secular Humanism's executive director). Our primary text is Robert Boston's book Why the Religious Right Is Wrong about Separation of Church and State (for sale at meetings), along with other articles suggested by participants.
If you would like to receive credit toward the CFI Institute's Certificate of Expertise, attendance at all meetings and a $50 fee fulfills the requirements for course SEC 231: Church, State, and Public Policy. Otherwise, meetings are FREE and open to the public.
The Center for Inquiry/Transnational is located at
1310 Sweet Home Road, Amherst, NY
across the street from University at Buffalo North Campus
