200 th Birthday Celebration for Charles Darwin! - Thursday, February 12, 7:00 pm
Join us in celebrating the 200th birthday of one of the greatest contributors to modern science, Charles Darwin. This event will feature a panel discussion exploring the application of evolutionary theory to the "front lines" of science.
Panelists include:
Parag Parikh, MD - Ear, nose, and throat surgeon, Niagara Falls, NY
Brahm Segal, MD - Associate professor of medicine at the University at Buffalo Medical School, chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Roswell Park Cancer Institute
Glenn Morrow, PhD - Associate professor in the department of biology at Medaille College, Buffalo, NY; current courses include: Advanced Vertebrate Physiology, Cell Biology, and Genetics and Evolution.
Special introductory remarks by John Shook, PhD, vice president for research, CFI.
