University of Minnesota at Morris biology professor and prolific Pharyngula blogger P.Z. Meyers will be making a rare Upstate New York appearance at the Rochester Institute of Technology on Thursday.

The presentation will overview evolutionary developmental biology in relation to a critique of intelligent design. Myers is an outspoken activist in the American creation-evolution controversy. Anyone interested in any of the topics discussed is welcome to attend.

The talk will be held from 8:30 to 10 p.m. Thursday, April 1 in RIT's Webb Auditorium, Building 7. Admission is free.
