‘Spirituality for Skeptics? An Exploration’ with Dr. Jerome A. Stone
The Center for Inquiry will present “Spirituality for Skeptics? An Exploration” with a talk by Dr. Jerome A. Stone, a philosopher and author of The Minimalist Vision of Transcendence: A Naturalist Philosophy of Religion , and Religious Naturalism Today: The Rebirth of a Forgotten Alternative .
Dr. Stone is best known for helping to develop the movement of Religious Naturalism. He is on the adjunct faculty of Meadville Lombard Theological School; is emeritus professor of philosophy at William Rainey Harper College; is in preliminary fellowship with the Unitarian Universalist Association; and is a member of the Highlands Institute on American Religious and Philosophical Thought (HIARPT) and the Institute on Religion in an Age of Science (IRAS).
“Spirituality for Skeptics? An Exploration” is $10 for the general public, $5 for students, and free for Friends of the Center. Payment is accepted at the door.
