CFI Holiday Saturnalia Party
On December 19th, CFI Austin will be hosting our first holiday party, and we intend to do it in style… old Roman style that is. We’re planning to meet at the First Unitarian Universalist Church of Austin (FUUCA) in Howson Hall. This facility is located at 4700 Grover Ave. Austin, TX 78756
People are welcome to show up as early as 7pm. In keeping with the spirit of feasting for this occasion, we are asking everyone to RSVP here, but to also coordinate with Eric Osterholm ( eric@osterholm.org ) on a dish to bring and share (potluck style).
Children and alcohol are allowed, but in both cases we request that you please bring your own.
We will be accepting clothing donations for the Medina Children’s home- any size clothing you have laying around would be appreciated!
We will also be doing a White Elephant gift exchange- bring a small wrapped gift ($5-$10 value) for everyone wishing to participate!
We are still working out details on what the festivities will be, but we welcome all suggestions (except the ones about sacrificing goats or dancing naked under the trees- while intriguing, we encourage you to freely engage in those rituals in the privacy of your own homes).
Io Saturnalia!
