By the time most of you read this blog, I will be on my way to Ft Lauderdale to board the cruise ship Miracle and a great time with the Center for Inquiry Travel Club . The cruise features many great speakers along with socializing and stimulating conversations. Featured speakers include Paul Kurtz , Laurence Krauss , Pat Schroeder , Ken and Ruth Frazier , and Emily Kingsley.
Laurence Krauss is an internationally known theoretical physicist whose studies include the early universe, the nature of dark matter, general relativity and neutrino astrophysics. He is the author of over 250 scientific publications as well as numerous popular articles on physics and astronomy.

Ken Fraiser was the earth science editor of Science News in 1969-70 and editor from 1971-1977. He has been editor of Skeptical Inquirer magazine since 1977. Ruth Frasier is a former president of Futures for Children which works with American Indians of the Southwest.
Emily Kingsley has been a writer on the Sesame Street team since 1970. She has written 20 children's books and two Sesame Street home video releases. She was inspired by her son, Jason, who was born with Downs Syndrome, to include people with disabilities in the Sesame Street cast.
