I wonder which will end up being the greatest show — the book itself, or the mischaracterizations, distortions, and demonization that are sure to follow. Still, Dawkins has come into the ring fighting:
You find your precious time continually preyed upon...by a baying pack of ignoramuses...

There is a worthwhile article in the Wall Street Journal today 9/12/09 in the Weekend Journal section entitled Man vs. God. In it Richard Dawkins makes his case for Darwins theory and also concludes that the author of the “God” portion of the article, Karen Armstrong, is an atheist. A point that I happen to agree with after reading her piece. I wish that more of the “believers” had her understanding that what they have is a BELIEF not a factual, logical argument for the existence of God.
