Quote of the Day
Ron Bailey in Reason Magazine
If this trend toward nonbelief continues, it’s going to be harder and harder for believers to “hate” atheists because the damned nonbelievers are going to turn out to be people they already love and value, their children, other relatives, friends, neighbors, and co-workers.

I disliked Capital One before reading the article, this just re-enforces it.
As for Tim Minchin…I can testify that he brought one little kid great joy w/ his prolific use of the F word during his act. The kid was standing in front of me with his mother and siblings…he was probably about 8…and every time Tim sang “F the mother F-er” the kid doubled over with laughter. You could tell that he thought it was so cool that he was getting to hear this “taboo” word over and over and over again, in public, and no one was freaking out. His mother looked slightly uncomfortable, but I got the impression that they were folks who had stumbled upon the rally, rather than intentional attendees.

Cap One just lost a customer.
Love Ron’s quote.
