Part One of a two-part session on creation and evolution from the 2011 conference of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry.
On Friday, October 28, 2011, the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry and the Center for Inquiry presented their “Creation and Evolution” session at their conference, CSIcon, at the Marriott Hotel in the French Quarter of New Orleans.
The session was moderated by Dave Thomas, a physicist and mathematician, and a member of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry’s Executive Council.
The speakers were Eugenie Scott, director of the National Center for Science Education and author of Evolution vs. Creationism, An Introduction; and Barbara Forrest, professor of philosophy at Southeastern Louisiana University and coauthor of Creationism’s Trojan Horse.
