Bloggers’ Imprisonment Sparks Free-Speech Rallies

The 20 or so representatives of the MU Skeptics, Atheists, Secular Humanists and Agnostics, or MU SASHA, and the Columbia Atheists were at Speaker's Circle for two reasons. They were protesting the incarceration of four Bangladeshi bloggers who were arrested on charges of blasphemy after publishing criticism of Islam — which is the official state religion of Bangladesh — and also promoting freedom of expression, religious or otherwise.
