Community Lunch & Movie: “The God Who Wasn’t There” - A film beyond belief!
Holding modern Christianity up to a bright spotlight, this eye-opening documentary asks the questions few dare to ask. "Did Jesus even exist?" is just the beginning for The God Who Wasn't There. Your guide through the world of Christendom is former fundamentalist Brian Flemming, joined by such luminaries as Jesus Seminar fellow Robert M. Price, author Sam Harris and historian Richard Carrier.
The public is invited. Our usual agenda is lunch from noon to 1:00 PM, presentation from 1:00-1:30 PM, and Q&A until 2:00 PM. You can order from the lunch menu.
There is never a charge for Friends of the Center, so join at the meeting for special rates and to support our community.
Reservations are helpful but not mandatory. We've never turned anyone away!
