We cordially invite Friends of the Center to join us in celebrating the Council for Secular Humanism's membership to the Secular Coalition for America. Enjoy a light hors d'oeuvre reception with special guests Tom Flynn, Executive Director of the Council for Secular Humanism, and Sean Faircloth, Executive Director of the Secular Coalition for America.

The Council for Secular Humanism (CSH), an affiliate of the Center for Inquiry, is the leading American organization representing the nonreligious. The mission of the Council for Secular Humanism is to advocate and defend a nonreligious lifestance rooted in science, naturalistic philosophy, and humanist ethics and to serve and support adherents of that life-stance. CSH recently became a member of the Secular Coalition for America, an advocacy organization for atheists, agnostics, humanists, freethinkers, and other nontheistic Americans. Located in Washington, D.C., the Secular Coalition lobbies both Congress and the Executive Branch on issues of concern to secular Americans.

This reception is open to Friends of the Center and invited guests.
