Junior Investigators Club: Butterflies + Plants: Partners in Evolution
Join Junior Investigators Club for two exhibits at the Smithsonian National Museum of Natural History. The first exhibit, Partners in Evolution, explores how insects and other animals co-evolved with plants. The second exhibit, The Butterfly Pavilion, is a rare opportunity to walk among a variety of live butterflies from all over the world.
We will meet at 10:00 am at the Partners in Evolution exhibit. Purchase your tickets for The Butterfly Pavilion for the 11:15 am time slot. Adults: $6, Youth (2-12): $5. Please purchase your tickets in advance to avoid a sold-out time slot. Tickets may be purchased by phone as early as May 3 at 1-866-868-7774.
Everyone is encouraged to take public transportation, as street parking is very limited. Located at Smithsonian Metro Station (Mall exit) on the Blue and Orange line.
Must RSVP to or call 202-546-2330 Ext.111 by Thursday, May 15.
Junior Investigators Club is an exciting new bi-monthly event at CFI/DC. We welcome families and their children from ages 6-12 to explore a range of interesting science topics and learn about skepticism, critical thinking skills, and humanist values.
