CFI Washington D.C. Humanist Bookstore
For individuals interested in learning more about history, science, humanism, religion or critical thinking, the Center for Inquiry-DC sells nearly 100 different book titles. Past and present issues of CFI's flagship magazines, Free Inquiry and Skeptical Inquirer are also available for purchase.
The collection includes topics such as the analysis of paranormal phenomena and religious claims, scientific findings concerning the universe, moral controversies surrounding stem cell research, abortion, and end of life issues, as well the writings of historic figures such as Charles Darwin and Thomas Paine, and Elizabeth Cady Stanton. Recent issues of CFI's Spanish language magazine, PENSAR, are also available.
When you become a Friend of the Center, you'll qualify for a special 10% discount on any book purchased in the CFI Washington D.C. Center Bookstore and up to 15% off of hundreds of additional titles ordered through Prometheus Books.
**Individual memberships start at $60. Your financial commitment will ensure that scientific and rational solutions to current problems are given appropriate consideration by Congress.
The bookstore is open to the public Monday through Thursday 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and during any event held at the Center.
