CFI/DC Participates at the Annual Pallisades 4th of July Parade

The CFI/DC community marched at the Annual Pallisades 4th of July Parade and it was great success. CFI/DC Events Manager Melody Hensley and four enthusiastic volunteers carried the Center for Inquiry banner down the neighborhood streets of the Palasides, as thousands of onlookers enjoyed the Independence Day festivities. We received a warm response from the crowd and several people showed their support to our mission statement with loud cheers and shouts of approval as the volunteers passed out CFI/DC flying disks. CFI was pleased to receive emails from people familiar with the organization that did not know of our presence in Washington D.C. and appreciated our participation in the parade.
