Winter Solstice Campfire
Time: 4:00 pm.
Location: Markham Park - camp circle "C".
5th annual Winter Solstice Campfire.
Join us for a picnic style celebration of the winter solstice. This is a great time, we start with a picnic and as it gets dark we will have campfires to sit around and have a good time. Overnight camping is available for up to 12 tents (free for 1st come first served) and a small fee for over 12. Pets are welcome, however the park does have a pet fee ($1, we think) and a small park entry fee (may be waived, we are working on it). We have reserved 4 camp site in camp circle "C" sites 3, 4, 5 and 6.
We will supply the basics (hamburgers, hot dogs). We ask that you bring a covered dish. If you want beer, bring it.
This year we will also have an awards presentation.
We will also be De-Baptizing people. If you know where you were baptized and furnish the name and address of the church, we will send them an official de-baptism letter informing them that you are no longer a member of their church.
This will be a lot of fun.
All are welcome.
