Summer Solstice Picnic
Time: 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Location: John U. Lloyd Beach State Park, Marina Pavillion, (Parking Lot # to be announced).
We have rented the Marina Pavilion for our Summer Solstice Party at John U. Lloyd Beach State Park. Parking Lot ?? will be the closest parking lot by our picnic pavilion.
Please RSVP to Jeanette Madea at 954-345-1181 or CFIFLL@aol.com as soon as possible so we can estimate for food.
As usual, we will supply the hamburgers, hot dogs, sodas and water.
Please bring a covered dish to share.
Alcoholic beverages are prohibited in all areas of the park.
Everyone in the group must pay the following entrance fees as they enter the park:
$4.00 per single occupant vehicle
$6.00 per vehicle (2-8 persons)
$1.00 per pedestrian, bicyclist, or extra person over maximum in vehicle
Free entry for children five years old or younger
The pavilion has water, electric, picnic tables and a barbecue area.

Recreational activities: Beaches, boat ramp, boating,
canoeing, kayaking, fishing, nature trails , picnicking,
scuba diving, snorkeling and wildlife viewing. Canoers and
kayakers can paddle Whiskey Creek, a manatee sanctuary that
flows through the park, beaching their vessels for a picnic
at the north end. Snorkelers and scuba divers can follow
submerged markers to reefs in one of the area's easier shore
dives. Other amenities include a 45-minute nature trail ,
shaded picnic areas along the 2.5-mile beach and fishing
from the jetty at the south end of the park. Limited picnic
supplies, and canoe and kayak rentals are available at the
