During these sessions, people will bring topics (such as statements made by religious fundamentalists or believers in the paranormal, etc.) and the group will investigate the responses. This is a traning session for those of us who want to be better equipped to respond when such unfounded statements are made. It will involve getting more familiar with what the bible really says, what the constitution really says, etc. It was proposed that we also do some role-playing to simulate such conversations. So bring a "talking point" and reference materials and sources to help us pool our ideas and responses.
This meeting's opening talking point will be about how people are ethical without religion.
