Currently serving on the board of the Unitarian Universalist Church of East Aurora, NY. Our particular congregation is populated primarily by Humanists, Agnostics, Atheists & various other flavors of non-theists who seek community. Recently facilitated a series of workshops there called “Welcoming Congregation” intended to increase understanding of & sensitivity to GLBT issues in our culture & community. Engaged to my life-partner Peter for 8 years now, not-so-patiently waiting for the State of New York to pull its legislative head out of its a** and make marriage-equality a reality. My latest activism is geared toward thwarting the gas industry’s attempts to use hydro-fracking in New York state.
