I am a closeted non-theist and a recovering evangelical.  I choose not to confront religious people in my life (including spouse, family, employer and friends) because doing so would likely alienate my family and could end my employment.  So for the time being, my only “coming out” will be online.  I welcome email and messages from others who find themselves in similar circumstances.
