I grew up in Israel, I went to college in Singapore, my family lives in Monaco, my passport’s German, and I live in New York. I used to blog at http://abstractnonsense.wordpress.com and http://3quarksdaily.blogs.com; then I met other bloggers and was so horrified I shut the former down and ran out of things to say on the latter.

I’m shopping a political novel entitled Eternal Night, which is about global religious fundamentalism (but with a focus on the US), and makes me sound a lot more of a New Atheist than I actually am.
