I was reared on a farm. After college, I served in the Army (’64 to ’68) and was promoted to Captain. I was promoted from engineer to manager to executive of various electronics companies (‘69 to ’85). I acquired an electronics company by a management, leveraged buyout (’85 to ’91). I sold my company in 1991 and changed careers. First I became an inventor, and then started pursuing my teenage dream – theoretical physics. However, most fields require considerable investment for journal subscriptions, etc. NASA created the NASA-ADS web site and a web site now known as the ``arXive’’. So, I became first an astronomer then cosmologist. Dr. Castelaz of Pisgah Astronomical Research Institute (PARI) helped introduce me to the field. I now instruct courses in Conceptual Cosmology and Astronomy at Blue Ridge Community College and write papers.
