My name is Ginger Campbell, MD. I am the creator and host of the Brain Science Podcast. I also have an intense interest in the history of ideas, so I use my second podcast, Books and Ideas to explore a wide variety of topics. However, I find myself very involved in trying to promote a better understanding of the scientific method.

Before reading Jennifer Michael Hecht’s book Doubt back in 2003 I was totally unaware of the rich history and tradition of skepticism. Later, around 2005, I became aware of the modern skeptical movement thanks to the podcast Skepticality.

I met DJ Grothe at Dragon*Con 2008 (when we were on a skeptical panel together) and since then I have become a fan of <i>Point of Inquiry<i>.
