Born and partially-raised in Portmore, St.Catherine, Jamaica, I came to the United States at the age of 14.5. Being raised in a devout, Pentecostalist family, I’ve had an interesting journey to unbelief. Add to that the layers of being gay and African-American makes it all the more interesting, but I’ve found that those social layers have given me a unique perspective into the human condition and has allowed me the privilege of a becoming a more loving and tolerant human being. I’m truly enjoying my life as a nonbeliever.
