My name is Tony Houston and I am Associate Professor of Spanish at Bryant University. My primary area of inquiry is in the cognitive aspects of language acquisition. As a language educator, I am committed to language study as a means of presenting culturally different others in their full humanity and engaging students as critical thinkers via interaction encoded in the foreign language. I write a blog called “The Multiversalist” and administer a Facebook group called “Multiversalist Congregation,” a forum for critical freethought. I would like to encourage students to start a CFI affiliate on my campus and am willing to advise such a group.
