Too broad a question.  What do you mean by pop culture?  I like pop music, as long as it’s from my day—70s or 80s—but I just don’t “get” modern music.

Well than that would fit in the some of it category

Pop Culture

So what is “Pop Culture” anyway?  Is it Hip Hop, Rap, American Idol, Survivor, Fear Factor?  The Super Bowl? Rise of the Christian Right? Loss of interest in math and science?  The cult of the sports star?

A bit more definition would be helpful in answering your question.

This seems common. Apparently, music just doesn’t effect people the same way as they grow older, though the quality is probably pretty much the same.

I am an indie music lover, which I think might not fall under the umbrella of pop culture. I love watching 24 and got into Lost when I found out the writer is from my high school. I am a devoted sports fan which is definitely part of US pop culture.

But I’m not very money oriented at the moment. Money is very pop culture.

I also find the trite political statements of pop culture icons annoying. I think hollywood success can corrupt critical thinking skills and lead to groupthink.

I am anti-groupthink, and pop culture is pro-groupthink.

Sorry. High school was 17 years ago time ago. Haven’t seen the guy since.
