That would be cool. Hope they pick a drawing that actually looks like him, though. Some of those were pretty bad.

I agree. What’s up with the unibrow Sagan? And he looks like some kind of religious guru in the first orange one…

That first one is terrible. Actually, I didn’t like any of them nearly as well as the portrait photo they showed toward the end. But that first one should never have been shown.

I like the last one where he was leaning on his arm.  That one seems like the best, but there rest have little to be desired.

I am happy that Carl Sagan is getting a stamp.  I will definitely stock up when it becomes available.  However, I am extremely unhappy with the three choices.

1.) The Glowing Candle, looks fictitious, Carl is looking off the page like he isn’t focused and he appears to be made of gold, causing me to think of him as Midas.
2.) The night sky, this may be my favorite by process of elimination.  However, I can barely stand the cocky angle of his head.
3.) Planets background, this is the best actual picture of Sagan, but he is radiating a white glow like he is some kind of saint or god.  Maybe he is just eclipsing the stamp?
