I spent a few hours in church yesterday and it gave me some time to reflect on what it is that I believe and what it is that I don’t believe.
There may be a number of ways to expressing this, but I couldn’t help but to put it in a sort of prose form.
Its a bit redundant, but hey, I was at church.....

Anyway, thought I’d share it here, and if anyone has links to similar writings, let me know!

==========================================
Eternally Equal

I believe that All People, in All Lands, in All Times, were and are born Equal.

I don’t believe in the Curse of Adam.
I don’t believe in the Curse of Eve.
I don’t believe in the Curse of Cain.
I don’t believe our Ground is cursed.
I don’t believe our Flesh is Cursed.
I don’t believe our Riches are Cursed.
I don’t believe that the Past was Cursed.
I don’t believe that the Future is Cursed.
I don’t believe that the Present is Cursed.
I don’t believe in Divine Curses.
I don’t believe in Eternal Curses.
I believe in Secular Equality.

I believe that All People, in All Lands, in All Times, were and are born Equal, and to believe so requires one to disbelieve in the Curses of Adam, the Curses of Eve, and the Curses of Cain.

I believe that no one is responsible for where they came from or how they got here or what happened before they got here, but of who they are and who they choose to be.  And that each of us arrive not in debt to the universe but as heirs to all the universe has to offer each of us.

I believe that another’s gender is no more useful in understanding another’s moral composure than one’s physical stature or one’s physical strength.

I believe that another’s natural skin color is no more useful in understanding of another’s moral character than one’s natural hair color or one’s natural eye color.

I believe that All People, in All Lands, in All Times, were and are born Equal, and to believe so requires one to disbelieve in the Curses of the Ground, the Curses of Flesh, and the Curses of Riches.

I believe that acts of Morality can be mathematically articulated, and that the value of Morality can be measured.  This value is created when the Individual provides for the Needs of their Self, for the Needs of their Family, for the Needs of their Communities, and for the Needs of their Planet.

I believe that acts of Immorality can be mathematically articulated, and that the disvalue of Immorality can be measured.  This disvalue is created when the Individual ignores the Needs of their Self, the Needs of their Family, the Needs of their Communities, or the Needs of their Planet in favor of one’s fleeting desires.

I believe that acts of Nobility can be mathematically articulated, and that the value of Nobility can be measured.  This value is is created when the Individual having provided for their own Needs, puts aside personal desires in favor of the Needs of their Family, the Needs of their Communities, or the Needs of their Planet.

I believe that All People, in All Lands, in All Times, were and are born Equal, and to believe so requires one to disbelieve in the Curses of the Distant Past, the Curses of the Distant Future, and the Curses of All the Time in-between.

I believe in our Past we have made great progress, and this progress has been the result of an increased understanding of our Selves, an increased understanding of our Families, an increased understanding of our Communities, and an increased understanding of our Planet and Universe, as well as an increased understanding of all the Laws that govern each.

I believe in our Future we will make great progress, and this progress will be the result of an increased understanding of our Selves, an increased understanding of our Families, an increased understanding of our Communities, and an increased understanding of our Planet and Universe, as well as an increased understanding of all the Laws that govern each.

I believe that Today we make great progress, and this progress is the result of an increased understanding of our Selves, an increased understanding of our Families, an increased understanding of our Communities, and an increased understanding of our Planet and Universe, as well as an increased understanding of all the Laws that govern each.

Secular Equality can only exist in the absence of divine inequality.
To believe in one requires disbelief in the other.
And, I believe that All People, in All Lands, in All Times, were and are born Equal.

Look for the bare necessities
The simple bare necessities
Forget about your worries and your strife
I mean the bare necessities
Old Mother Nature’s recipes
That brings the bare necessities of life.

I don’t believe that everybody was born equal and I am not sure why one has to put aside personal desires in order to become noble.
