I’ll never like the smell of baby oil after that contest again.

Hey, you might have the makings of a country and western hit there.

I’m confused.  Is this supposed to be another incarnation of the devil or an accompanyment for CC while singing in the shower?  LOL

That would work, I’d be singing like, ah, like, I’d be singing like a happy man.

Oh, but that’s one of those sad things about getting old, those beautiful young women keep coming along,
while we just get older and older and older and older {that last one was for Occam tongue wink }, thanks be for happy memories.
excuse me for going all philosophical here.

But, you know, funny that.
Maybe Satan is the old age waiting for us.

Just today I spoke with an old Yosemite pal, like back after high school days.  He was 2/3 years older than me and part of our gang.  We were all young super men and women off along the South Fork of the Merced, Big Creek, skinny dipping and adventuring and young and loving life and fun and diving from the highest cliff you dared. Heck, they took me along to see the Grateful Dead in Oakland for the second to last concert with their fabled Wall Of Sound, wild fun days.

Well, we spoke today and it was the prostrate operation and the heart shunt operation thing and hassles with the insurance and the F’n incompetent government and the snow that took out power a couple days ago that still ain’t back on and on…

I got off the phone and thought wow.  Sheite I remember when losing electricity was a fun adventure.  How far we have come - or is that how far have we come?  cool smirk

You know I often drive on US Highway 666, but the f’n Xians and Morons, I mean Mormons, made the gov’ment change it to route 491 a few years back.
They were scared of driving on the Devil’s Highway.

I’ve seen buildings with no floor labeled thirteen.  They just label it fourteen, and continue the count from there, skipping thirteen.  That’s like closing your eyes and saying, “There is no thirteen.  There is no thirteen.”  I grew up on the thirteenth floor!  Math had personalities for many numbers for a long time, they’ve all but gotten away from that now-a-days, almost.

Back when I worked in gas stations I loved it when a purchase would come to $6.66 and people would freak out and buy something else to change the price.  Hilarious.
