Well then, why don’t you step up to the plate and defend all the religions mentioned here and not just Islam? I find it really ridiculous no one says a word until someone mentions Islam and then it’s defend it, without saying a word about other religions. Although, I truly feel that Islam, including its book, is the worst of all of them.

Well IMO Islam is. BTW, George, the original post was asking for personal opinions- the person asked which religion you’d get rid of and why. Thus, it is a matter of personal opinion and it doesn’t matter if the person thinks the religious of their choice is all that I stated and others disagree. If it were the case, then I could argue with you about your opinion concerning Buddhism, even the new one. However, I did not wish to debate it, since that isn’t exactly what the thread is about.

Most definitely and I agree with you concerning Buddhism, obviously. It is one of the least violent religions, next Jainism, which I believe is the least violent religion.

I am going to adhere to the request in the original premise and concentrate on a newer religion, not one of the “root” religions.
In this case, I choose to abolish the Christian Identity movement, which is the religious denomination of white supremacists. I abhor racism and would be happy to at least have an aspect of it conquered.
I’m not sure I could make an easy choice on this one. As poisonous as the Abrahamic religions (Judiasm, Christianity and Islam( have been, one has to wonder at what options there are which are worse.
