For the previous 45 weekly episodes, we have never missed a Friday deadline. Until this week. The fact that it is Friday the 13th is fodder for all the friggatriskaidekaphobics who listen to the show. Electricity at the Center for Inquiry (as well as most of Amherst, NY) has been out due to a rare early October snow storm, which has led to a state of emergency with widespread downed trees and power lines. Consequently, this week’s episode featuring an extended discussion with Richard Dawkins will not be available until Monday, October 16. An act of God or just bad luck? Either way, we’re sorry for the delay. Sincerely, Thomas Donnelly
