FYI “Unchained Radio“‘s motto from their website is “Real Christianity in the Real World”, and it appears to be run by a “Pastor Gene”.

That said, the Shermer talk could be interesting. He is a good man, and has done a lot of interesting stuff with his Skeptic magazine.

However, I have read Shermer’s book How We Believe: Science, Skepticism and the Search for God ... while there is a certain amount good stuff in it, but I found it disappointing overall, and often philosophically incoherent. Shermer is all too often willing to be an apologist for religious belief, IMO.
