My intent is not activist. I believe in live and let live. I just like to be prepared when my beliefs are attacked by fundies or in discussing the merits of theocratic laws which affect my life. I will never yield to discrimination and/or intimidation.
I don’t think you will have any problem defending your beliefs. I think the people around you, in your community and in my community, will be vulnerable to the promotion of their ideas. I’ve seen it where I live. People listen to these people and are convinced by what they say. If I just wait until I am personally attacked and others who think like myself do the same, then I think this would allow the creationists to have some success overall in society.
