Oakland smells funny
It smells like Bellum omnium contra omnes, but instead of humanity, it’s a bunch of degenerate/mentally crippled kids who can’t formulate a cohesive opinion on anything, much like their parents.

Ah. Never been there myself. Though I think I may have driven through it once or twice. But you should drop by Midland some time. During election season I like to drive around and try to find signs for non-Republicans. Last cycle was a high. I found 12!

Between the Conservative street press gangs defacing democrats with hastily constructed billboards, and the roaming caravans of lunatic evangelicals, you’d end up best as tofu. However, Royal Oak is as liberal as any city can get. Young populace with a vibrant foreign and atheist community. Hell, you can see gays going about their business care-free, where as in Birmingham you’d get flogged for being open about it.
