Land Yoga a new wellness and Yoga center in west Harlem will host an program of South Indian Classical Dance by Jaan R. Freeman.Mr. Freeman lives in Harlem and is of African-American background has dedicated his life to performing this divine art of South India.This program is for those open in thinking in terms of Hindu Mythology and the ancient stories of India.

This program is designed for new audiences to this divine art from South India.Mr. Freeman has been performign and learning this art for 16 years having learned in India, USA and Montreal under Nandini Ramani & Priyamvada Sankar both senior disciples of the late great South Indian Dancer T.Balasaraswati.The program will feature items of the repertoire.

Program date: Saturday, Sept 10th, 2011 at 6:30pm

Admission: $16 in advance, seniors and students with vail ID/$20 at the door.
