When I clicked on the email link to see a new post in a forum i subscribed to, I got an otherwise blank window with the CFI logo and “you are not authorized to perform that operation”

Not sure. I get that page too. Sometimes it happens because the thread has been moved or merged. It might also happen because the new post was spam that’s been deleted.

Yeah, I get that occasionally, too. I think it’s just a glitch in the software. However, in my more paranoic moments, I think the software doesn’t like me being a wiseass.

I can usually get around it by getting out of the thread then going back, or sometimes, just logging out, going to some other site, then coming back and logging on.
