... Florida “pastor” Michael Stahl triggered a whirlwind of controversy after he compared atheists and free-thinkers to child rapists and terrorists, and suggested that America institute a national registry for atheists. This registry, which he referred to in his original blog essay as “The Christian National Registry of Atheists”, would make public all the registrants’ personal information.
Hmmm, makes me think of the thread about prejudice against atheists. Atheists and sex offenders? They better have lots of space to store all those priests’ names.
We don’t need no stinkin’ registry!
Just throw them all in the river, if they drown they were not atheists, if they float they are atheists, so we’ll just kill em. That will solve this atheist “problem” once and for all.
Sign me up rev! I’ll be in good company and we can sing kumbyah while they back up the trucks to take us to the camps. Sounds familiar. Didn’t the NAZIS… oh never mind.
How about a national registry of schools that exclude teaching the first amendment to their students? Or of teachers that actually teach the students that the USA is a “Christian Nation for Christians only” or that “Hitler was an atheist” or that the Muslims who drove the planes into the twin towers were “atheists”, or of schools that teach that the US consitution is “based on Christian Principles” (as opposed to the British form of government that was based on ??).
I’m amazed that merely because some obscure little pion preacher posts some deceitful bigotry up on his blog a year ago on Thurs. Sept. 30 2010, that it can actually make international news and get people talking! Maybe the journalists are on our side reading the freethoughtblogs.com written by a journalist? I can’t imagine them taking Stahl’s side. His blog profile says that he’s still studying the Bible, I guess he hasn’t learned what a low quality piece of writing it is, yet.
I think we need a national registry of all priests and ministers with ALL of their sexual behavior, history, and detailed reports by anyone who feels they have been victimized or had a relationship with them. The only problem I see is that it would be hundreds of thousands of pages long.
This guy’s a waste of time. No Western influenced government (including the US) has the balls to do such a thing. There would be anarchy if something like that passed. As the blogger stated, he’s a nobody. Giving him so much press lifts him above the status of “nobody”. Not even going to give him the dignity…

He’s just taking his time re-reading the pornographic portions…

What no pictures? He’s getting suckered. But I’ve never read the book, anything redeeming in there? I hear the Song of Solomon is sexy.
The Song of Solomon is more than sexy! Try googling ‘porn in the bible’ and tracts from that book should come up. You should memorized the chapters and verses, just in case someone wants to read the bible with you, wants you to read it to their children, or asks you for your favorite parts of the bible!
