I haven’t uploaded everything yet, but I was just skimming through my photos, and wanted to share this one. It’s my fave so far.

You don’t need to tell us, its more fun just to guess what they were saying in that picture! 

James Randi: “Thank you people for being here.  Don’t look at those three cameras, look at me.  You with the orange jacket, come sit here near me.  And you with the yellow tie come into the picture frame, we need more color in this picture.  Joe Nickel open your jacket, that black shirt looks mod.  Bill Nye, everyone look at this, I’ve got a nice magic trick for you here.  Now we take these three cups and three balls…” 

I had been on the other side of the room, preparing to leave the dining room, when we noticed a knot of people on the other side of the room. I said to my dinner date “I wonder who is holding court over there…” Then at the same time, we both said “Randi, I’m sure.”

Even cooler was seeing Bill Nye swing dance at the Hallowe’en party. Who knew?

Oh like you’d doubt Bill Nye’s ability to do anything. I’ve never seen a more… joyful guy.
