I picked it up a few days ago and am loving it so far. Nearly 50 easy to digest chapters, each on a different psychological phenomenon. Fascinating, and very accessibly written.

Could you provide a little more information? It looks interesting. Does it repeat itself a lot after the first couple of chapters? (I saw one reviewer who wrote that)

Looks like a good skeptical book.  Though I think that personally I’ve moved past it.

Well!!!  I certainly wouldn’t buy a book with that title since I clearly disagree with it!!!

I read the blog faithfully. Very good stuff. They explain the psychology behind many of the fallacies of perception and thought that cause us to believe and do dumb things.

Some of the phenomena have overlapping traits, but that’s a result of the subject matter, not anything the author does.

So far my favorite chapter has been the one on introspection. Nothing like realizing you really don’t know anything about why you are the way you are to brighten up the day!

The title of the book is offensive to my ego. I would never have purchased the book.
