I wonder why some christians (replace with religion of your chosing) call everyone else barbarians, while “christian barbarians” never causes them even the slightest embarrassment.
Let me guess. The “reasoning” behind this “theory” is: their idea of god is different than mine. Therefore, THEY are barbarians.

Religon like and other system of beliefs are only as good (or bad) as the uses people put them to.

I agree some Muslims are barbaric, as well as some Xtians, some Buddists, some materialsts, some athiests, and some of most every other group of human identiies you can think of.
