Why, even among atheists, can we not say Islam is barbaric?

I wonder why some christians (replace with religion of your chosing) call everyone else barbarians, while “christian barbarians” never causes them even the slightest embarrassment.

Let me guess. The “reasoning” behind this “theory” is: their idea of god is different than mine. Therefore, THEY are barbarians.

Obviously, this “scientific concept” can be extended to any idea grin

Thus we can say that some people (of any cloth) are prejudiced and some people (of any cloth) are barbarians. Which answers the question posed in the title.
I’ll admit my prejudice against religion in general, but I am not prejudiced against individual people who are religious. I judge people by the content of their character, whatever their persuasion.

Maybe that’s a good argument for nudism. LOL

Don’t get set into one form, adapt it and build your own, and let it grow, be like water. Empty your mind, be formless, shapeless — like water. Now you put water in a cup, it becomes the cup; You put water into a bottle it becomes the bottle; You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now water can flow or it can crash. Be water, my friend.

We all stand naked in the face of reason…. cheese

Standing naked on a day like today in Buffalo is in itself unreasonable;  unless resaon is restricted to indoor activity, cool grin

You know, I think this thread has gotten way off topic. Can we please go back to talking about those barbaric Muslims again?

Well, Affluenza, using your statement:

Can we talk about how dishonest you are?

we could also talk about how stupid and obnoxious you are.  Your lack of understanding of how to behave on a discussion forum is disgusting. Your social IQ appears to be less than zero, and your academic IQ is not much higher.

Do you understand the above demonstration of why one should be courteous on this forum?

Oh please…this is a forum and he has shown himself to be dishonest in discussion…its only right I point it out.

I may be obtuse but I will never be dishonest in discussion.

Oh and I love the ad hominem waffle on your part…
