The Broncos have been winning because of their opportunistic defense, soft schedule and opponents’ mistakes. Tebow has been outstanding late in games, but I’m expecting the team to regress to the mean next year, and Tebow along with them. Defensive coordinators will have more tape to study and those breaks the Broncos’ have received will begin falling against them. Tebow’s mechanics and inconsistency will be his downfall as an NFL quarterback.

And I wish one, just one, reporter would look Tebow in the eye and quote Matthew 6:5 to him.

So, this is in essence grandstanding on his part? I used to see this when we lived in South Bend and attended the Notre Dame games. It seemed that the players crossed themselves before every play. More of a tradition there I figure. I wonder what Tebow’s reward will be according to Matthew?
