The exorcist is one of the few horror movies that I actually find to be creepy. .

When I was a kid The Uninvited did that for me too.

The Sixth Sense was good too.

Master and Commander is my favorite movie and Patrick O’Brian is my favorite fiction author. Peter Weir directed an exceptional portrayal of Jack Aubrey and the Napoleonic navy. Incredibly accurate detail and fantastic period music. He features Boccherini’s Musica Noturna mentioned throughout the series. And Russel Crowe really rose to the occasion. He is Jack Aubrey! Stephen Maturin the Polymath adds to the tale (played by Paul Bettany) and they even travel to the Galapagas Islands where Maturin has the opportunity to take specimens. The movie is a combo of 2 of the 21 books in the series.

Funny thing, that popped up while I was watching the Jim Carrey clip. I had not seen it in years. That was a good one. A bit naive and dated, perhaps, but well worth watching.

Watched the clip. Like it, although I have seen it before. But, not to get too much off topic, another side video clip that has appeared on numerous occasions while perusing YouTube gets on my nerves every time it comes up like during the Charlie Chaplin dictator speech. That utterly stupid, most obnoxious and incredibly annoying video is “The Girl Who Silenced the World For 5 Minutes”:

The video should be banned from YouTube or have its title changed to “A Girl Speaks For 5 Minutes at the United Nations”.

That video pissed me off too. I guess when you’re young you get the freedom to blame everyone for the wrong in the world. Well… Hang in there little princess. It’s won’t be too long that she’ll be an adult and we can blame her too for all the worlds problems.
