...and fans of rock/metal.

I recorded this three years ago, but only recently put together a video for it.
It’s the Doctor Who theme, but with a metallic twist.

Enjoy!

I am recording a more epic version at the moment, but that’s probably months away from completion.

Nice, but I didn’t see my favorite Who (Tennant). I thought the writers during David’s time did some of their best work.

Yeah, no Tennant - his intro was the same as Eccleston’s so I used that intro to cover both of them.

I agree, David’s time had some amazing stories. “Midnight” being my personal favourite.

On the new version I’m recording, I plan to make another video featuring the darker moments in the Doctor’s history. Tennant has plenty of them! There’ll be lots of him in there.

Great.

I am deeply saddened to find out Matt Smith will be replaced. He was has been my favorite. I will miss his personality as he is the one featured when I was introduced to the series…“Lets Kill Hitler” was my first episode!

I need to watch all episodes from beginning to finish (60s-current).

Good video and music!

Yeah it’s a shame he’s leaving… but three seasons is what I’d consider a good run.
Makes sense to go out on a high (the 50th anniversary.)

I have to admit though, this latest season has been a bit of a fizzer for me, and I’m a pretty forgiving Whovian. Not Matt’s fault at all, just the pacing of the show (and splitting the seasons) have left me a bit “meh.”

Good luck with watching all the old ones! It’s a big effort. Even as a fan of the original show from way back, they’re pretty slow-going at times.

I’m close to finishing my surf guitar version of the theme too.

Just a teaser…

Good stuff! Metal’s not my main thing but I do appreciate a good production of music and video.
I wouldn’t normally suggest this to an artist but seeing as how you are doing various versions(surf guitar ie.) why not consider
the tonal and dynamic signatures of Jeff Beck’s Bolero?
I see some interesting overlap between the 2 songs.
