I find it amusing that you make a claim like that when Rocinante just gave examples of the Bible explicitly doing exactly that.

The Bible is a deep and complex book understanding it takes patience and devotion.

The arrogance of that statement is self evident. Who do you think you’re talking to, uneducated children who need to be taught how to think?
You’ve missed the entire thrust of this forum which promotes careful analysis of fact and well reasoned arguments based on critical thinking in all disciplines of science and philosophy.
Go make statements like that to third graders. On second thought, don’t!

Not only does it condone slavery, it provides an owners manual of who, what, where, when and how. A true ‘good book’ would need only 2 words on slavery…‘no’ and ‘never’.
