I would not disagree that the world is a messy place right now. I would not disagree that we as men and women are part of the reason why. But could we not make an argument here that this too is part of a natural selection process of sorts? We see it in nature but sometimes seem to exclude ourselves from that aspect of it.
Or perhaps I’m way off ...
Are we evolving our mentality when we tie it to ancient text like bibles that were written for men of 3,000 years ago?
I don’t think so.
In our Christian nations, Christianity is holding us back.
Seems like a lot of people in my generation aren’t interested in having a family - at least not a typical family. I see tons of single parents - and childless couples. Things are just…......different.

Yeah Missmac, I’m your generation and I’ve noticed that as well. I think there have probably always been plenty of people who didn’t want the traditional family, but it was hard to be different decades ago; nowadays we can do what we want (more or less) in regards to marriage, family life ect. Whether or not many of us will remain satisfied with that is another story though.

As members of Western democratic nation, we have witnessed a marked deterioration in morality and family values.
These complaints go back at least as far as the ancient Greeks. Each generation is less respectful, more rebellious and less responsible than the one before. With this constant deterioration of values it is a wonder civilization has lasted this long.

Each generation is less respectful of what? It may be that they are more respectful of their own thoughts.
More rebellious and less responsible don’t seem to go together. Rebellions are often a sign that some want to take responsibility.
So it may not be deterioration, but strength that has caused civilization to last this long.

I think the point is that each generation looks to their past with rosy glasses and thinks they were more respectful than the little brats around them now.

Precisely. I was using snark to refute the OP’s view.
