None of those things are even remotely offensive to men.
I wonder if anything can be offensive to men. Especially to white men. I guess that’s why anytime you watch a commercial with a man and a woman, if one them will be portrayed as ignorant, you can bet it’ll be the guy. If it’s a commercial with a white guy and a black guy, the white guy will always be the dumb one.

Hmmm, not having any sex would probably offend most men. Other than that, I can’t think of anything that would offend men all across the board.

I think any group is offended when their own make them look like assholes. I’m offended by the fact that men are overwhelmingly the aggressors in crimes. I’m offended by the KKK. I’m offended by Wall Street and things like the largely white male politics of the W administration. The list goes on.
I was joking around with a good friend and we came up with an idea for a white, anglo-saxon, male victims society. Our motto: “Just because we’re superior doesn’t mean we don’t have feelings too.”
I thought this was pretty funny, (demonstrating the potentially negative effects of beer),and thought my fiancee would appreciate it. Well, she’s pretty resilient, so she kept the ring and with a lot of verbal back pedaling I managed to avoid a night on the couch.

It’s pretty hard to offend those with the most power—they don’t actually feel threatened.
I’m not sure, feeling threatened and feeling offended are vastly different things.
True, but don’t you think most people are offended most by that which they see as threatening? Either to them personally or to a group they identify with?
Isn’t feeling offended all about feeling disrespected? The individuals who hold power only hold it through fear and/or respect. I agree with FreeInKy, feeling offended is a symptom of feeling threatened, or at least feeling that one’s grasp on power is threatened.

Maybe in a very abstract way; for example, one could offended by people who don’t bathe, because they have many contagious germs that can threaten them. But, I don’t think there is a direct connection.
